​Liquor Liability

Suit against a bar for serving a person to the point that he became so severely intoxicated that he could barely walk. He was struck by a motor vehicle as he attempted to cross the street from the bar, resulting in severe injuries and his death. Case settled during judicial mediation.

Suit against a bar for serving a patron who was visibly intoxicated, resulting in her death. Verdict for plaintiff in Beaver County.

​Dog Bites

Suit against a dog owner who let his dog off leash in a public park. The animal ran into plaintiff’s bike, causing it to fall over and resulting in a traumatic brain injury and numerous fractures. Case settled just prior to trial.

Suit by college student bit by a dog with history of bites known to owner but not to student resulting in numerous facial surgeries. Settled prior to trial.

Suit by rodent control inspector for dog bites where owner misrepresented to inspector that no dogs were on the property, when in fact there were two pit bulls, who bit her. Suit settled prior to trial.

Suit by wheelchair-bound woman against seat cushion manufacturer for decubitus ulcers requiring numerous surgical debridements. Suit settled prior to trial. 

Suit by tree trimmer injured in a man lift that fell to the ground resulting in severe back injuries. Settled prior to trial. 

A suit against the designer and manufacturer of a sophisticated coal handling system for severe arm injuries caused by an equipment malfunction. Settled prior to trial.
