Ms. Zurasky grew up in Penn Hills, a suburb of Pittsburgh. Since she was in kindergarten, she wanted to be a nurse, and this led her to West Virginia Wesleyan College where she received her BS in nursing in 1978. She worked for 15 years as a nurse at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center/University Hospital of Penn State University in Hershey, Pennsylvania, most of the time in the high-risk labor and delivery/maternity department.
A chance remark prompted her to consider a career in law, and she took the life-changing step of attending The Dickinson School of Law from which she graduated in 1993. Following graduation, she worked for over two years for the Pennsylvania Nurses Association representing nurses in the field of applied labor-management relations. She then returned to the Pittsburgh area where she has concentrated her practice in civil litigation. Jamie has handled hundreds of defective product claims and has tried arbitration and jury trials to verdict.
She is admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania. She belongs to the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Associations where she is a member of the civil litigation sections. Contact Jamie Zurasky
